"Yoga has always been my safe space. Space for me to feel loved, confident, happy, content, whatever I need at that moment. It continues to challenge me, it challenges me mentally, it challenges me physically. It makes me think twice about what I do on and off my mat. The Yoga Box idea came from us thinking outside the box. The idea was for people to come to our studio and feel confident and loved and have that safe space where they could practice or not practice or just be."

Co-Owner

"For me, yoga wears many hats. It can make me feel strong and confident but at the same time it can keep me grounded and humble. Yoga is a place where I can free my mind and body of clutter from my everyday life. Every time I walk into the studio, I feel at ease. Here, at The Yoga Box we want to be inviting for you to be able to come in and surrender to your mat."

Sherry Burnett

Sherry’s yoga journey began more than a decade ago, though it wasn’t until she left the corporate world that she realized a calling to teach. A former competitive athlete, Sherry found great healing in cultivating a softer, lunar yoga practice combining pranayama, asana, and energy medicine techniques. Being able to surrender to the moment helps her cultivate a deeper connection to her body while letting go of her mind’s need to push. Sherry is a 200 hour RYT. She enjoys communing with nature in her garden, expressing creativity as a painter and gemstone jewelry maker, and sharing health and wellness through her offering of wellness coaching, essential oils, and gemstone therapy as Holistic Zen Wellness.

Clare Costello

Clare's yoga journey began in attempt to find grounding and balance that her life lacked. She received her 200 hour RYT training from Rocky Heron of YogaMaze. She has studied with Robert Boustany, Briohny Smyth and Dice Iida-Klein, Natalia Callard and Catie Coon, amongst others. Clare feels deeply in tune with Boustany's energetic theories. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Health and Exercise Science degree and gained a much deeper understanding of anatomical alignment. She was a high level gymnast in her youth and has always felt naturally well-oriented in space. Her classes are slow and meditative, allowing time to properly align and breathe. She has studied Asian and yogic philosophy both in school and in her free time, so one can count on integration of these in her classes. Clare is a musician, which is also a major part of her yoga practice and spiritually-driven life.

Jenilyn Spades

After finding yoga in 2006, Jenilyn started her practice and accepted a secret mission to share yoga with the world! "Yoga is different than any other type of workout because it is designed to improve every single system of the body."  Jenilyn loves to help ease people into their own practice in a way that serves the bio individuality of each unique person. She feels blessed to have started her practice under Catie Coon and to have learned from Ricky Tran, Natalia Callard, Matthew Sanford, BNS Iyengar, and Robert Boustany, completing training in 2015 with Rocky Heron from YOGAMAZE’, 200 RYT through Yoga Alliance. Jenilyn has been practicing deep tissue massage therapy since 2003. Her knowledge of the human body and love for yoga philosophy has shaped her slow, restorative, anatomy focused teaching methods. Jenilyn offers private or group lessons as well as combination yoga and massage packages tailored to your healing needs. When she is not in the studio, she can be found frolicking across the countryside with her husband or at home reading under a pile of cats.

The best instructors I have ever had. They teach you how to practice in your own body...
