Class Descriptions

Our classes are suitable for all levels. Opportunities for modifications, adjustments and advancements are offered.

The pace in this fluid, powerful class is faster than The Yoga Box Flow 1 and links movement and breath together to detoxify and exhilarate body and mind. With an emphasis on movement, balance, and intention, this class is great for all levels of experience. More complex poses may be introduced for advanced students; however, your instructor will give you options and modifications to practice at your own level.

THE YOGA BOX FLOW 1-2

Designed as an alignment based introduction, the pace will be slower than The Yoga Box 1-2 so that we can focus on developing safe alignment and posture in foundational poses. This class is great for anyone working with injuries, starting out or just wanting to brush up on the basics.

From challenge comes change. This exciting and challenging class will fire up your strength and core as you practice proper posture alignment and connect breath to movement while moving through demanding sequences and advanced options. YB 2-3 is designed for intermediate to advanced practitioners with a solid practice and understanding of yoga postures and breathing techniques.

THE YOGA BOX FLOW 2-3

This class will be an hour long guided relaxation and meditation class. We will focus on a variety of breathing techniques followed by a variety of guided meditation journeys and/or Yoga Nidra. The meditations & Yoga Nidra journeys aid in ones ability to move from the sympathetic nervous system into the parasympathetic nervous system where deep healing and relaxation envelop the body, mind and spirit.

Listen to your mind and body and if you’re feeling a little off, working too many hours, or grinding out too many reps at the gym, you may be in the throes of burnout. If so, restoration is your answer. This slow paced class incorporates fewer postures, supported by props that allow you to completely rest and relax. Restore and Flow restores the nervous system and helps release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. Centering your breath and body while using gentle movement to align the physical and mental, allows us room to see clearly, find our natural state and to heal.
